Freedom of the Seas at the Battleship USS Iowa 

Produced launch weekend for the premiere of this annual event to transition the Battleship USS Iowa as home of the National Museum of the Surface Navy, including the Surface Navy Annual Awards Luncheon.  Honorees included AMB Robert C. O'Brien, former National Security Advisor, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, ADM Michelle Howard (Ret), the first woman, black four-star admiral to command a ship, and UPS VP of Government Affairs Bruce McRae. Produced the kick off event, the Annual Surface Navy Awards Luncheon and arrival meet and greet.


Beyond Baroque

Development Consultant and Event Producer, leading the campaign to reposition literary institution as it entered the milestone 50th Anniversary, launched with a gala honoring long-time supporter Viggo Mortenson, with performances by John Densmore (The Doors), beloved LA icons John Doe and Exene Cervenka (X), Bobby Bradford (Ornette Coleman), punk hero Mike Watt; Kamau Daood, founder of World Stage Theatre and director/musician Dwight Trible; sold out, surpassed $50K financial goal with additional $50K in secured sponsorships. Liaison for Amanda Gorman and team to establish namesake poetry prize for highschoolers; produced annual awards dinners, and the first virtual benefit Beyond This Moment. 

U.S. Soccer Foundation 25th Anniversary 

On event team for the U.S. Soccer Foundation 25th Anniversary milestone fundraiser with $1M target at Banc of California Stadium. Multiple activations, sit down dinner for 500 guests on the playing field, award presentation; managed sponsor communications and presence; special guests included LA Mayor Garcetti, soccer champion Mia Hamm and other sport, political and entertainment luminaries. 

Nashville Music and Art Trip for Guild Hall

Coordinated four day weekend trip for Guild Hall arts patron group of 26 (from East Hampton, NY), including all hotel, ground transport, private plane, art and music excursions and tours at legendary spaces like the Grand Ole Opry, private music event, welcome and parting gift bags. 

Library Girl with Vince Bell

Co-produced and presented show created for Houston legend Vince Bell, whose debut and latest record OJO were produced by legend Bob Newirth (Bob Dylan, Janice Joplin) and introduction by T-Bone Burnett. 


CrossTown Traffic

Created signature annual fundraiser to help bridge the South Bay and South LA art communities for SOLA Contemporary Gallery & Non-Profit, held at the Manhattan Beach Arts Center. Live and silent auction with over 100 works of art; sponsorships from local breweries and wine collectors; entertainment,  paddle raise and Giving Tree.


Kick Out The Jams: Panel Discussion with Wayne Kramer & Margaret Saadi-Kramer 

An intimate discussion with Wayne Kramer, guitar legend and founding member of the MC5, and co-founder of Jail Guitar Doors, together with wife Margaret Kramer, head of Teragram Music, music publishing & licensing, documentary producer, and manager, moderated by music journalist and author Steve Hochman (KPCC, LA Times, SPIN)  about their work as a power team and being a family.

San Pedro Waterfront Arts District Annual Summer Soiree

Annual summer fundraiser, hosted in historic Art Deco penthouse; art sale, live entertainment, live artist stations, brunch appetizer buffet and mimosas.



Executed destination weekend marquee events with five international bass legends:  Donald “Duck” Dunne (Booker T & The MGs), Jerry Scheff (The Doors) Joe Osborn (member of The Wrecking Crew; Fifth Dimension, The Carpenters) and Darryl Jones (Rolling Stones, Miles Davis) VIP cocktail meet-greet, multi-artist concert, master class clinic, open house. Secured radio and print promotion including a coup of an 11-page spread and cover for Japanese BASS Magazine.

Annual attendance, worked booths, set up showcases and parties for clients Lakland Bass and Darryl Jones, cross promotions working with endorsers Ampeg and Yamaha. 

NATPE, MIPCOM, LA Screenings for Paramount Pictures - Television Distribution

Oversaw planning and attendance to Television Distribution markets for global sales and marketing team of 100 for VIACOM/Paramount Pictures Sales Retreat - Terrenea Resort 3-day retreat with global sales and marketing team. Meetings, presentations, meals, strategy sessions, motivational games and icebreaker events, team morale builders. 

Heart on Fire, City Winery New York

Cancer benefits for punk architect Ivan Julian over two days featuring iconic, historical NYC punk musicians including a rare appearance by Television/Voidoids founder Richard Hell; Thurston Moore, Sonic Youth; Deborah Harry (Blondie), Matthew Sweet, Yo La Tengo and many more. Placed story in Billboard Music Philanthropy issue.

Alejandro Escovedo Annual Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theatre, Austin TX

The critically acclaimed Mexican-American music hero, from the percussion dynasty (and uncle to Sheila E) hosted an annual birthday month show in his native Austin every January at the ACL Live at The Moody; as producer helped secured talent, pre-show rehearsal week, staging, lighting, all activations, pre-show meet and greet, post-show VIP reception and private birthday celebration.

Rebranded and produced this annual concert for Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, establishing marquee value; concert now in its 23rd  year. Secured talent: Blues legends Pinetop Perkins (Muddy Waters), Hubert Sumlin (Howlin Wolf), Honeyboy Edwards;  Los Lobos, David Johansen (The New York Dolls); sponsorships incuding LaSalle Bank, Sara Lee.


THE WALTZ Benefit Concert Series for Neon Street for Homeless Youth

Orchestrated five-year strategic plan with partnership between Chicago promoters and radio outlets, transforming The Waltz into a marquee fundraising event for Heartland Alliance’s Neon Street Program for Homeless Teens. Booked national, regional and local talent that included: Mavis Staples, Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins), Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, Rick Nielsen and Bun E Carlos of Cheap Trick, Ronnie Spector of The Ronettes, Steve Earle, Blondie Chaplin, blues legends Koko Taylor, Lonnie Brooks, jazz greats Kurt Elling, Howard Levy, world music founder/composer David Amram and many more. Secured top-level sponsorships from Mercedes Benz, Apple, Miller, WXRT Radio, Chicago Reader, Kimpton Group. Implemented cross-promotional marketing campaigns for print, radio/TV, retail. Stolen Child with Wilco

Requested by Jeff Tweedy and management to produce musical/multi-media benefit with the band Wilco to benefit 911 relief efforts.


Chefs United

Requested by event radio partner WNUA to serve as Production Manager for tasting event put together by Chef Jackie Chan of Lawry’s for Prime Rib; 100 Chicago top shelf restaurants were featured at Navy Pier Ballroom, hosted by WGN TV personality Dean Richards.


Beggars Banquet for Collaboraction Theatre

Developed and produced signature fundraising event for this award-winning, multi-media theatre company; dinner, awards and talent included spoken word, music and fire dancers.


Steve Earle for Coalition Against the Death Penalty Concert

Asked by promoter, per the request of Steve Earle's management, to coordinate benefit concert at Metro for the Illinois Moratorium Project; sold out 1,300 attendees, orchestrated two-day pre-show press junket with radio and TV.


Let’s Face the Music and Dance, benefitting performance artist Brigid Murphy

Produced sold out benefit show with art auction for performance artist Brigid Murphy (of Milly’s Orchid Show fame) at Park West.  Continued to work with Murphy as her publicist, concluding with her comeback show.  Placed cover story in Chicago Tribune Magazine.


Absolut Croquet Tournaments/Open Hand Chicago

Developed signature annual event and benefit for AIDS meals on wheels program which ran for 10 years. Secured marquee financial

and in-kind sponsorships from Absolut, Pimms Cup, Lettuce Entertainment Restaurants; cultivated and sustained cross-community participation in corporate, hospitality, nightclub, arts and in memoriam.
